Open to all Alpharetta High School students!

Color guard students will learn performance techniques, dance/movement basics, and equipment basics on flag, rifle, and sabré, performance observation and analysis, basic design, and choreography. All instruction will be given at an appropriately challenging level based on each student’s own level of ability.

In the fall, this group, known as the "color guard" is the “visual interpretation” of the marching band. In the winter, the "winter guard" program provides performance opportunities for its members through participation in the Southern Association for the Performing Arts (SAPA) and Winter Guard International.
